We need plot boundaries in order to leverage remote sensing data (lat / long alone will not suffice); FF team has used a few tools for capturing plot boundaries in other projects (eg, ODK) and will share learnings
DG to share sample of data captured via Kobo Collect and DNDC output. @Ramaskanda R S
What should be the prompt for the data challenge? One idea is to estimate GHG emissions based on agronomic practices and remote sensing (Optical and radar which will give visibility to soil and water)
Agree to try and align on this in the next few weeks as it could inform what data needs to be collected
DG to share results from prior remote sensing project focused on yield estimation
How similar are practices within a contiguous area? Does it makes sense to do analysis at a unit larger than an individual small plot (~1 hectare)? What unit would make sense.
DG and Radiant Earth team need to discuss this further and bring in external expertise as needed
What is the density we have in a given village or unit of area? How many plots do we capture out of the total available plots? What is the selection criteria
