The TAC includes representatives from CSISA (Cornell and CIMMYT) and EDF.

The committee focuses on a few key areas:

  • Ensure that promoted practices are backed by solid evidence that they reduce yield scaled emissions

  • Inter-comparison of climate models and methodologies to determine which are best suited for generating emission claims in the context of smallholder farmers in India

  • Amplify data and learnings to inform policymakers and state climate action plans
