With an aim of mobilizing capital , WBCSD has created a open Agri-SME investment platform . The investor can analyze and communicate the investment opportunities and barriers. It is planned to lift the visibility of Agri-SME investment opportunities through different Publications , Digital tool (Platform ) , value chain dialogue & Networking . A momentum will be build across the whole value chain & cultivate a connected community of value chain actors to mobilize capital for Agri-SME investment opportunities .

Why this Tool ?

To create a dynamic online ecosystem that catalyzes the flow of debt, equity and grant funding to Agri - SMEs by improving the visibility of investable SME deals for investors .

A simple interface is built for users to post requests for funding, review deals in the pipeline ,invite contacts to join ,conduct due diligence and more.

Anyone can login to the Page and register themselves .

An individual from a company can register and add the team mates to it. After the personal profile is created, one can add enterprise profile with overview of the project , Impact , use of funds ,total investment required etc.

There is also a option to invite the organization to join the system ,see the pipeline funding opportunities and can filter as per the criteria like Environment ,Geography or impact

In the coming Networking Week (26-30 September) ,profiles of the agripreneurs are to be submitted in the website . The information need to be posted by Sept 12.

  • The overview of the business model should include what your company does and who your customers are .

  • Top-line revenue information (not formally required to post a profile ,but necessary for match-making purposes)

  • At least one funding opportunity / request.

  • In the financial overview section, it is needed to have details on revenue earned from operations vs grants, current operating income , net income etc.

  • Can include the type of funding you are looking for -

-Equity

-Debt

-Grant ,etc
