Falguni and Ashok did a presentation on FRAME project, its broader objectives and work streams. Following are the discussion points and action items
JEEViKA’s suggestion for the project and action Plan
Include projection of incremental income in the project objectives, along with emission reduction targets, it will help farmer to adopt the practices easily.
Include some orientation programs for district and block staffs in the action plan on climate change, its impact on agriculture and different CSA practices and scientific logic behind those practices.
Include training of SHGs/VOs by the VRPs in the action plan to make it a common plan for DG and JEEViKA.
Finalization of the list of agronomic practices by March 2022 for coming farming seasons in consultation with JEEViKA.
Plan for some demonstration in kharif season – e.g. pheromone trap/varietal trial
Need to produce new videos for different agronomic practices from CSA point of view. The existing videos portrays only the practice and not inpact from CSA perspective.
Ashok to do detail presentation on the findings of paddy data on 18/02/2022 to JEEViKA, and also to record Anil ji/Manoj ji’s byte for “Why CSA” video. Post presentation, DG will share the report and raw data with JEEViKA

NB. DG requested Anil ji to send a formal communication to Jamui and Nawada district and block team regarding wheat data collection to facilitate and speed up the process, as wheat season will end soon.
