Thanks. By way of introduction my name is Srinivas. I am a Cleanenergytech Social Entrepreneur ... Based out of Odisha and Vijaywada in AP .

I have worked across many agri value chains across India , collaborated with IIT Bombay, GIZ Germany, ICCO BV, Netherlands to name a few to assess and build appropriate value chain interventions, along with forward and backward linkage strategy. By a collaborative association with on field / NGO partners

Some ongoing /executed projects, that include one in a Public-Private Partnership mode are Apple value chain in Himachal, Potato Value Chain in Maharashtra, Horticulture Value Chain in Bihar, Banana Value Chain in Bengal.

I run an energy services collaborative and a clean cold chain initiative. Have worked with GE in India,US and Europe in their Energy Services business. And later with Tata Power Solar in India. In their utility-scale & off-grid solar energy business

( Deliverables-Discussed)

  1. Use KDE data extensively throughout the assignment.: Noted this data i presume will be made available in a usable format, excel/csv etc- Yes, will provide access to KDE data

    2. Facilitate 1-2, Buyer-Seller meet/s (Offline or Online) for Cashew ( DG would take care of logistics ): Logistics for seller visiting buyer, online zoom call infrastructure etc? Logostrics for my travels to the sites and to get a prelim assessment etc would be part of my proposal? You want me to give a lump sum quote or  a per diem rate  for time with travel costs at actuals etc ? - If it is offline, DG would take care of logistics for participants and venue. Your expenses could be part of professional charges/ consultancy charges. We can work out a convenient protocol. 

    3. Help digital green to figure out the 3 most need-based post-harvesting advisories for Cashew: I would need to know the locations/village names  of these individual  clusters, how far are these from Visakhapatnam/Vizianagaram/Srikakulam etc- We assume that you need to travel to these locations few times to understand the overall system and yes we will also provide the details needed by you. 

    Facilitate FPOs to develop a village/block level procurement plan (Aggregation plan) I would need to know the GPS locations/village names  of these individual  clusters- Could use GPS locations or work out a rough physical map with the partners to have aggregation plan. The NGOs have procured Cashew last year and they already have fare idea about routing and other stuff. Need to refine them. 

    4. Develop a logistic plan (Transport plan):  I would need to know the GPS locations/village names  of these individual  clusters- Any technical details, DG would provide. This is basically routing plan. 

    Facilitate transaction (sale) of, 25% to 50% of the available Cashew with the FPOs ( As per KDE data) which results in realizing up to 10% more price realization than the local market and also following fair trade practices. (transparent to the farmers): How would you document the transparency? Do you have necessary traceability systems/processes  in  place for an error free transparency to be established?- We meant transparency in transactions. If the Buyer is purchasing at 90 farmers should know that the purchase price is 90. Or Buyer is offering Rs 97/- , FPO expenses are Rs 4 and farmer is getting Rs 93/- ( the whole transaction should be transparent). Traceabilty we can provide through QR code system,

    5. Help FPOs to prepare similar marketing plans for other major produce/s.: Noted , I need to know the approximate quantity of each crop availability at each village/cluster level? Does this involve devising appropriate packaging , media strategies or just a marketing plan framework -Data is available with us , to begin with, sale of raw produce would be preferred in bulk. For example, Pine apple. 

    6. Share feedback from the buyers about their experiences working with the FPOs.: Noted. Is the produce being sorted by size /quality wise etc at least in some basic form - Kind of yes and requirements for the future.

    Time frame: Feb 1st to May 30th, 2022. ( For Cashew):In view of the pandemic and travel disruptions these timelines  may need some flexibility by one or two months - This is fine
