  • Data collection Kharif Paddy - How to use this data? Advisories to be planned for Kharif 2022? Expansion plan for Kharif 2022, What are the workstreams ( activities to be performed by Jeevika/ DG/ DoA)

  • Data collection RABI Wheat-Which geographies, What are all the data points to be collected?, ( TAC members to help), Data collection tool, Dissemination process, content identification, Video production

  • MRV CSA project- Make things clear to Jeevika mid-management- Objectives, Duration, Roles and responsibilities of Jeevika, DG and Technical experts, Activities, Digitisation of CSA practices, Expansion plan

  • GHG emission estimation- Process. ( Need more clarity on this)

  • Plan for collaborative work plans - Before every season.

  1. Data collection from 1600 farmers,

    1. Geographies-Gaya, Nawada ad Jamui ( Drought prone areas)

    2. Two blocks from each district- 250 farmers each ( About 2 VRPs)

  2. Contents for Advisories.

    1. Zero tillage

    2. Drip irrigation for Wheat

    3. Varietal information.

    4. Intercropping/ Crop diversification.

    5. Water harvesting.

  3. Video contents - Immediate requirement

    1. Community irrigation- Jeevika to provide the details

    2. Drip Irrigation.

    3. Custom hiring Centers.

    4. Mixed Farming

    5. Fortified Crops

    6. HD 2967 Variety of Wheat.

  4. Dissemination using PICO projectors ( DG to train VRPs).

  5. Expectations from DG- During the project phase

    1. Workshop / Brainstorming to decide activities / KPIs/ Role clarity - To arrive at the action plan ( Suggested to have this ASAP)

    2. Capacity building of Jeevika staff / Cadre -Video production / Disseminations/ Farming systems.

    3. Field support - Activities like Zero tillage, Varietal introduction, Seminars/ Workshops ( new practices).

    4. Convergence with other departments to avail different schemes to farmers -Climate-smart related activities.

    5. Promote Millets - climate-resilient cropping pattern.
