Project Epics or Workstreams

To keep our things organized, we have broken the objectives down to 5 core workstreams which are. These are logged in Jira and all tickets should roll up to at least one Epic

  1. https://digitalgreenorg.atlassian.net/browse/MRV-23?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiM2FiMjlkNzExZmIzNGRkYzg5YjVmNWFkZmRmMzk2MWUiLCJwIjoiaiJ9 Drive coordination between technical partners (CSISA and EDF), research community (ICAR, BAU, DoA), and other advisory providers (KVKs and Convergence Platform) to identify technically sound and locally relevant CSA practices and promote them widely.

  2. https://digitalgreenorg.atlassian.net/browse/MRV-24?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiODRlMGY3NTIwMDk0NDU3Mzk1MTc4NjJkMjZkN2QzOTEiLCJwIjoiaiJ9 In order to make claims about emissions, the methodology by which data is collected, verified, and modeled needs to meet high standards. Its also critical for VRPs and farmers to have an incentive for recording accurate data.

  3. https://digitalgreenorg.atlassian.net/browse/MRV-25?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiMjgyM2E1MWYzM2FlNDRhYjllZjgxYWRkZDQzMGY4ZDAiLCJwIjoiaiJ9 Estimating GHG emissions associated with agriculture is complex, as interactions among local soil, hydrology, management, and climate conditions govern emissions rates. Robust GHG accounting tools do not yet exist for India, thus developing regionally specific GHG accounting methodologies and standards is a critical component of this project.

  4. https://digitalgreenorg.atlassian.net/browse/MRV-26?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiNTBhZGZjMDhhNzc4NGU1Nzk5MjE3NzUzMWU1YjQwNmQiLCJwIjoiaiJ9 Farmers own and control the data generated through the MRV platform and can give informed consent to share the data. Align with emerging best practices and frameworks like DEPA and AA. Show how the data wallet creates value for farmers.

  5. https://digitalgreenorg.atlassian.net/browse/MRV-27?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiZmUxZTA0MDNkNzliNDY0MzkzNDU2MWM0ZTQ1MjRlYjMiLCJwIjoiaiJ9 Engage key stakeholders to drive execution in Bihar and set the stage for replication in other states. Convene workshops and develop knowledge products like a state level emission estimate dashboard. Engage early and often to create buy-in and ownership of this program.
